My experience at Turkeyana was traumatic, which is why I’m only sharing it now, four months after surgery. I went there for a breast reduction and would never do it again. The medical team was the worst—unfriendly, unprofessional and unkind. When I woke up in the OR, I tried to sit up three times and was pushed down; on the third attempt a nurse slapped me. I wasn’t taken seriously when I asked for pain meds and was left in agony for 24 hours. Nobody on the care team spoke English; they gave me a hydrating solution, calling it morphine. After discharge, I got no wound‑care instructions or antibiotics. At my five‑day check‑up, the operating doctor didn’t show, and a different person only touched my breasts without checking properly. Case managers insisted I remove my bandages so they could photograph my results, then cleaned my wounds without gloves or proper care. Back in Switzerland, my doctor found severe infections and scarring. Threads that were supposed to dissolve never did; I had to see a dentist to remove them. Turkeyana is money‑hungry and neglectful—0/10, don’t recommend. I want my money back.
